Advancing Research
Cultivating advancements right here in Georgia
Research is the bedrock of Georgia CORE. From our work in expanding clinical trials to awarding grants for promising research at Georgia institutions, our focus on research has helped make significant improvements in cancer care, particularly to rural and under-resourced populations across Georgia.
Building a stronger clinical research network
Georgia CORE brings together academia, research teams, and investigators to expand clinical trials, nurture collaboration among institutions and further our dollars to increase the impact on advancements in cancer research. We welcome new partners.
Investing in innovation
Georgia CORE collaborates with organizations across the state to strengthen cancer research and extend the impact of every dollar invested. We administer the Georgia Cancer Research Fund, supported by voluntary contributions from Georgia taxpayers. Through the Collaborative Seed Grant Program for Cancer Research, the fund supports innovative projects that bring together researchers from two or more Georgia institutions.
